State Route 349 near EB/Pfizer

Groton, ConnecticutApr 03, 20060 Comments

Groton City police have several speed traps south of Eastern Point Road between EB and Pfizer. Also further up the street on Thames St, just after the bend from Bridge St alongside Groton Oil Co. & Marina. Speed Limit is 25 along the entire stretch of Eastern Point Rd and Thames St. Completely ridiculous on the recently renovated stretch of Eastern Point Road. Specifically targeting Pfizer employees between Poquonnock and Benham Roads on Eastern Point Rd.

Groton, ConnecticutApr 02, 20060 Comments

Police park just over the bridge that goes over railroad tracks off road, on grass hard to see. Speed limit is 25MPH which is ridiculous. Will stop for going 30MPH which has made the road a money maker for Groton City. The police are there anytime but more prevalent during PM rush hour.
