Middlebury, Connecticut Speed Traps

As you approach Exit 16 (Eastbound) watch for trooper sitting just beside the exit ramp at bottom of hill. Cars in the left lane gathering speed after the climb up the hill between Exits 15 and 16 are prime targets for this trap.

Often times, Connecticut State police will monitor traffic between Exits 15 and 15 on I-84, going both east and west. Be careful especially around exit 17 in Middlebury, there are quite a few inlets where the troopers like to sit and hide. Often times, you can not see the trooper and when you finally do, its too late. So be careful!
