Terry’s Plain Rd at the bottom of Hallview Dr
At the bottom of Hallview Dr there is a farm with a small red barn. More often than not there is a police car backed into a grassy area next to the barn. This spot is very effective because it’s impossible to see the speed trap before you’re right next to it.
Sand Hill Road
This entire stretch of road that connects Bushy Hill Road with 10/202 is highly monitored by police. The speed limit is 25 mph and if you’re travelling eastbound, it’s all downhill so be careful.
Masonic Hall on Rt. 10
They sit in between the Simsbury Bank and the new Masonic Lodge. They’re usually pretty far back, so you won’t see them until you’re right there.
Bushy Hill Road 1/4 mile from RT 44
A police car often sits on the right side of the road as you head away from RT 44 just past the first curve in the road (right after Stop N Shop entrance).
Riverside Road near East Weatogue Street
This trap in the middle of Riverside Road between where it intersects Drake Hill Road and where is intersects East Weatogue Street.
A police officer will usually sit on the side of the road in a grassy area. Enforcement is pretty frequent, and the speed limit is 25mph, so it’s quite easy to get a ticket.
