I’ve seen police sitting right on the town line (Torrington and New Hartford) in between Home Depot and Borgesi’s. They’ve caught many people coming from both directions!
East Main Street near West Torringford Street
Torrington has LASER guns! East Main is a 35 zone, everyone speeds on it. Patrolling near BJ’s and the car dealerships. My V1 laser alarm went off and I didn’t believe it – got me at 58 in a 35 for $196!
West Pearl Street- After Greenwoods Country Club
In one of the long driveways on that long stretch of West Pearl Street after the glof course, a cop is uaually sitting behind one of the mounds of earth that hide the driveways.
RT 202 heading down the hill near the driving range
I’ve seen this one once. Full dress statey sitting in the weeds between the driving range and the Motorcycle dealer pointing K-band at northbound cars. My V1 gave plenty of warning to drag the brakes down the hill, but the car behind me got nailed.
