Willington, Connecticut Speed Traps

As you near exit 69, You are coming down a steep hill where vehicles are known to pick up speed. The cruisers, usually marked, park behind the exit overpass, so you don’t see them until they nail you. State Police Troop barracks C is within a half mile off this exit, so you will see them use this entrance/exit quite frequently.

Most of the time the police are on the lower end of 320, that is the end on the other side or Route 74 towards uconn. There are 3 places they sit and they are there more often then you might think. The first is at the fork in the road of 320 and Y rd. Next is Further towards uconn, on the straight away just before the stop sign at the fork in the road ( this is the most common one) Lastly they sit at the intersection of 320 and 195 and catch people coming down the hill, usually they only do that one when the leaves are off the trees.
