Dagsboro, Delaware Speed Traps

Unmarked either Blue or Maroon, he sits on the same side as Southern States – there is a little "bare spot" in the grass right by the "Red Barn Antiques". He is usually pretty nice about warnings UNLESS you are going more than 10 mph past the posted 25 mph.

Local police park at the paint store in front of their sign and also just after the light on the side of the road. They also are now parking on 20 just across the street from the Delaware National Guard Armory where they just reduced the speed. This is a very successful trap and probably the largest business in this little town. I drive through this town often several times a day and the Dagsboro police are either waiting or have one or two cars stopped with both Delaware and out of state tags – speed limit is 25 mph.

50 mph speed limit abruptly lowers to 25mph when road conditions do not change. Police radar is curiously used at this point.
