This is a dangerous town to drive through. AT all times there are cops working Radar and Lidar. This is how this town makes their money so watch out.

Rt. 13 (either direction). Harrington, Del, is a nasty little town on the Eastern Shore. Harrington apparently earns most of it’s income from people passing through from New York to Virginia Beach in the form of speeding tickets. The speed limit drops from 55, to 45, to 35. The well equipted local yokel cops are out 24/7. How a little town can afford they sophisticated LIDAR and instant-on Ka, tells me that they must make a fortune. Expect speed traps any time you pass through this place as it is a big suprise to not find them. They have obviouly accomplished their goal (safety of course for the towns 150 residents) as only locals and idiots speed through this town. Be careful!
13N Right after the railroad tracks where the speed drops from 55 to 35.
They hide behind a tree in front of an auto repair business. Greenwood DE is 6 miles south and they will get you going Southbound and Harrington will get you Northbound. This way the same people don’t get 2 tickets but if you’re on vacation it’s possible to get one on way down and one on way back.

Speed limits go from 55 to 45 to 35 within a mile. Local police are in full force–especially weekends and holidays. Heading north on Rt. 13, start to brake right after the Midway casino and BEFORE the railroad tracks. Also, beware of the same situation in the small towns of Felton and Greenwood (highest ticket writers in the state). Truly exploitive.
