Wilmington, Delaware Speed Traps
Faulkland Road, at the basin of Red Clay Creek
As one proceeds either east or west down the steep hill to the Red Clay Creek, it is virtually impossible to maintain the posted 30 MPH without riding your brakes the whole way. The bridge over the creek is ideal for NCC police, as it is 4 lanes wide (with shoulder) for pulling over cars, who have only a moment to see the police, because of curves in the road at the top of each valley hill — thereby leaving no time to react. Average "safe" speed on these hills is 40-45 MPH, so you will suffer a ticket any time the NCC police set up shop here. Very unfair!
I-495 SB about a mile before the merge with I-95
There is a huge median with small hills between SB and NB of i-495 where they hide. Limit is 65, but u can do 95 safely (depending on car and weather of course). Be carefull.

I-95 Northbound before Marsh Road exit

South Walnut Street
Wilmington has several police cars without light bars and they run radar there all of the time as you are coming into the City, sometimes even blocking off one of the lanes and walking out into traffic
