Wyoming, Delaware Speed Traps
Willow Grove Road
Speed limit is 25 mph, becomes 35 mph. Police set up radar at end of 25 mph zone and collect over $100 per ticket for those traveling over 30 mph.
Wyoming Mill Rd, The New Church
I’ve repeatedly seen Wyoming officers sitting in the entrance to the parking lot of the newly built church on Wyoming Mill road. They will sit right at the entrance turn where there are no street lights, with every light in the car off to catch people right where the speed limit changes from 35 to 50.
Layton Avenue – New Burton Road
SB New Burton Rd at Isaac Branch Bridge. Speed reduction zone: from 50 mph, to 35, and 25mph at bridge.
NB New Burton Rd at dip in roadway just north of Wyoming Mills entrance
Old North Road Road near CR District Office
Usually parked on right side of road between other vehicles directly across from district office.
Wyoming Mill Road near North of Wyoming Mill Pond
Officer sit up at the speed limit sign on the edge of the town limits. Often get cars leaving Wyoming as they begin to speed up leaving town. There are very few "safety" concerns in this area. It is simply a money maker for the town.
