The police hide behind the streets and people actually let them use their driveways to hide in. I was only going like 15 over and got stopped by a cop on foot holding some kind of radar gun. He said that it was a schoolbus stop and but I didn’t see any kids in sight!

The Bradenton Police Dep’t routinely sets up speed traps along Palma Sola Causeway on Manatee Ave. They do it at different intervals so watch out. Also their is no lights along this stretch of road between Anna Maria Island and Bradenton so that makes it harder to spot them.

They are very strict about the 25 MPH speed limit on this road. They will sit on the side of the road and by the time you see them it is to late to slow down and they are flagging you over. Some times there are two or more and they have alot of cars pulled over in a line.
