Casselberry, Florida Speed Traps
Oxford Road near State Highway 436
There is a Denny’s on the corner of St rd 436 & Oxford. They cops sneakly hide behind a fence catching drivers coming up a way too slow 30 miles an hour stretch, trying to get onto 436. They are not the friendliest, & almost always give you a ticket. I got one for going 37 in a 30. bads days anything can happen. watch out for this corner they are there A lot!
Sunset Drive near US Highway 17-92
Casselbery police run speed traps almost daily on sunset drive. Sunset drive is located behind the HomeDepot on 17-92. They will sit at alot of locations but their favorites seem to be the park, the Catholic Church or at the Assisted Living Facility all located on Sunset Drive. The speed limit is 25mph but I suggest you go no more than 20mph.
State Route 17-92 near 434 Road
17-92 in the area between 434 and the turn to get to SCC(Seminole Community College). Mainly northbound lanes….motorcycle cop. Got pulled over for speeding in a hurry to get to school.
Interstate 4 near State Route 436
On I-4 between the SR 434 and SR 436 exits, FHP will have officers stand on an overpass crossing the highway with radar guns, then radio to their pals down the street to go and pull you over. At times I have seen up to 4 FHP cars in each direction pulling people over. They seem to do this once a week during the morning rush, I don’t know if they do it in the evening becasue I don’t take that route back home.
Casselton Road near Greencastle Road
