Davie, Florida Speed Traps
SW 61st Ave between Griffin and Stirling rd
Two Davie motorcycles and a Davie police car often seats near the day care center (closer to Griffin Rd) on 61st Ave early morning 7 to 9 AM and mid afternoon, clocking people going both ways. Speed limit is 30 mph. They are hard to see so just manage your speed.
They also seats in front of 56th street with the undercover sheriff Charger and Challenger clocking people going both ways as well. They usually stay on the east side of the road in both cases.
On Stirling Rd between Flamingo Rd and Volunteer Rd
The speed limit before and after this section it is 40 miles per hour but this section drops to 25 mph. Police hide in driveways and wooded lots along this section. (some mornings but mostly mid day and afternoon commutes)
Nova Drive near Pine Island Road
On nova drive just west of pine island right across from the side entrance to forest ridge they are sometimes there the speed limit is 40 be careful
Davie Road
In front of Polish American Church going Southbound and sometimes Northbound closer to Griffin Road. Usually around 3pm in the afternoon. Officer sits with motorcycle on the sidewalk close to the church or school.
Stirling Road near Florida State Turnpike
Westbound lane of Stirling Rd., at the bottom of the Florida State Turnpike overpass. Frequent radar party in attendence looking for vehicles accelerating down the decline of the overpass._
