Daytona Beach, Florida Speed Traps

Sauls Road runs between South Daytona and Port Orange. The Speed traps can be anywhere along the street.

Set up at US Postal Truck Enter. on Dunn at “School Zone””. 1 or 2 motorcycles there 2-3 days/week. Speed 25mph school zone. Should be enforced. Be careful!_”

Police sit on Big Tree road about a half mile down in front of the trailers under the tree. By the time you reach them they have you for going over 35 miles per hour.

Northbound on interstate 95 about a mile or so past Port Orange Exit 256 there is an overpass. Two State Troopers sit under the bridge in the median. They are there 95% of the time during morning and afternoon rush hour traffic and are often seen throughout the day as well.

A police officer regularly hides at the bus stop area located by the parking lot of the Services for the Visually Impaired Building. This is a 4 lane road coming off of Clyde Morris & no one would expect the speed limit to be the 35 miles an hour as posted.
