Edgewater police are infamous for many years through out the area for giving out tickets for anything from slighty over the 45 mph limit to having a license plate light out.
Anywhere within posted city limits
Edgewood is notorious for the number of tickets produced by such a small police force. Anyone who knows Orlando knows that Edgewood is a tiny suburb with an even smaller police force…but they are vicious. OBEY ALL POSTED SPEED LIMITS, regardless of how ridiculously slow your are forced to travel. They drive an assortment of marked/unmarked and practically invisible patrol cars and can/will hide almost anywhere. Avoid this stretch of the road (Orange Ave…southeast side of town) if at all possible. Put simply: you’d be pushing the speed limit here if you rode through on a bicycle!
