Gulf Breeze, Florida Speed Traps

Coming back from the beach they will be at the bottom of the bridge, either on the right just past the marina or in the median at the bottom of the bridge. The speed limit is 35 mph and they can clock you at the top of the bridge. Watch out this summer they will be here often.

The Gulf Breeze police sit on 14th street @ Bay Front Parkway, and as you turn off Chase, heading toward the 3 mile bridge, they roll into the flow of traffic, and follow it across. they catch up to a vehicle that is going over 10 miles too fast, and as they exit the bridge into Gulf Breeze, pull them over.

Highway 98 runs through the city of Gulf Breeze where the speed limit is 35 mph and is highly enforced. The road runs past 3 schools and then goes through the Gulf Islans National Seashore where the speed limit changes to 45 mph. This area is also patroled by radar by the Gulf Breeze City Police and also the Park Rangers. Because this is federal property the fines are higher. This is a non-developed area and the police will park in the median out of long range view. The flow of traffic is very heavy at all times during the day. A “normal”” speed of traffic is 55 to 60 which is safe but is not tolerated by the police.”

Just as u hit the 3 mile bridge goin into gulf breeze be aware of the police helicopter and the new undercover cop cars of the santa rosa county…

they now have a white newer f150 that looks like a construction truck but it is not.. slver box opens up with a light bar..

also the deputies have a couple of unmarked ford expeditions… one i know of is dark green with a terrific kid bumper sticker in the back window… some have the stock wheels while some have the black looking donuts

50/50 change that there will be a patrol car or two on the west side of park.
