On Bates Rd approx 1/2 mile EAST of HWY 27, in the parking area of a junk yard. There are more areas that they will hide in on that road due to all the new subdivisions popping up in that area, they will tend to be sitting inside the walls of the subdivisions, especialy before the railroad crossing near 17/92. US Highway 27 North near U-17/92 Overpass
US-27 speed limit drops well before the Rtes 17/92 overpass on US-27N but is seldom obeyed. Haines City police set up radar checks just over the crest of the Rtes 17/92 overpass going north on US-27 and you are caught before you see them if you are speeding. Speeders are lined up there when the traps are in force.
