Homosassa Springs, Florida Speed Traps

As you are heading West on Grover Cleveland toward Hwy 19 right by the Library, the speed drops quickly from 50 to 40 to 30. I have never had a speeding ticket in 30 years, and I was stopped right there for going 47 in a 40 that came up on me quickly. I might add the police officer was sitting along side the road with his lights out just waiting.

US 19 S coming in to Homosassa Sprgs. Speed breaks from 55 to 45mph right by Kanes Ace Hardware. Cars are nomally driving at 60mph and the FL Highway patrol are working it hard. (US Highway 19 – Suncoast Blvd)

This section through Homosassa had ogt real bad.Mainly late at nite and early A.M.As you enter the town the speed limit drops and they will stop you if you are speeding as the speed limit changes.Just be careful going through this town as I lived here 15 years and this is worst I have seen!
