Been swarming with speed traps all morning from Gulf to over the bridge and past the 1st stop light, been pulling cars over in un-marked cars and a black work looking truck.

The speed limit on Gulf Blvd within the city limits is 30 mph. The speed limit going south from Belleair Beach and north from Indian shores is 35. The sheriff’s write you up for driving over 30 mph in Indian Rocks Beach. They hide in gas stations, the pet park, in the beach accesses and other business parking lots along Gulf Blvd. They also ticket for rolling stops at stop signs within the neighborhood streets of Indian Rocks Beach anytime. The sheriff’s are thick here in the city.

Heading West on SR 688, approaching the Indian Rocks Beach drawbridge. Speed limit is 45 mph up to the top of the bridge. Just over the bridge’s crest, where the road decends and curves to te left, the speed limit changes to to a posted 30 mph. Pinellas County Sheriff officiers set up shop in the center lane, facing the westbound traffic, right at the bottom of the hill.

Pinellas County Sheriffs sits on the border of Indian Rocks Beach and Belleair at 27th Ave and Gulf. When heading south on Gulf Blvd. they are on the left (east side) of the road in a vacant commercial lot hidden between the median in the road.

Sheriff parks in Plumlee Real Estate lot. They get you as you go over the Indian Rocks Beach Bridge going westbound when it changes from 40 to 30 mph, or eastbound as you approach the same bridge leaving the beach.
