Inglis, Florida Speed Traps
State Highway 19 near Highway 40 Crossing
Police sit beside bushes facing north shooting south bound traffic coming into Inglis on a mild curve coming into town and south bound traffic into Inglis drop from 65 on the open road and enter town on 45 mph where there is no buildings or congestion. Our local mullet rapper said recently citations here last year were $8000 and this year $190,000. the police aren’t for town protection but turned into traffic speed cops. We are going to end up with the reputation of Waldo and like cities. Smart people here drive the local street using their cruise control now.

I live in the area, so I see when they are up. Heading south as you past a shop called A-1 Auto they like to sit in the median at the town edge. Just a little further up there is a plazza, they hide in with the rigs (if any is there) next to the plazza. It is 45 mph. After you cross the second bridge its clear till Crystal River. We have a blue car, 2 white cars, and 2 grey cars. The white ones is the only ones marked.
