Most people won’t because you have plenty of road left before you get to the intersection but that little strip that you will exeed the limit by 5 to 10 miles will get you a ticket. Selective enforcement is suspected. Pick up trucks are okay out of town vehichles and expensive cars are targeted.

Watch out on medians, on U.S. 19. Unreasonable speed changes from 65 to 55 to 45 in short distances. Confusing speed limits. Several police cars seen without lights on dark roads, facing on coming traffic entering the town. Police notified me that if I was driving over 14 mph that it was acceptable and that “no one will look twice.”” Ticket issued for $180 fine under S.S. 316189(1) to out of area motorist unfamiliar with town. Police used visual estimate and radar. Seemingly unreasonable amount of time for both estimate and 3 second radar. Locals at a gas station advised me that police enforcement is constant.”
