Kissimmee, Florida Speed Traps
Poinciana Blvd, South of US 192 and North of US 17/92
Going North from US 17/92 you will often find a speed trap where the road goes down from 45mph around a bend approaching Lake Cecile Drive. They use unmarked cars, bikes and hand held radar. Sometimes they wait in the median, sometimes in a small lay-by.
Also, they sometimes stage the trap in the opposite direction. At least once a month this trap is in operation but when the weather is nicer they seem to be there more often.
I stopped once and asked a cop what was the top speed they had caught someone… 89mph in a 40mph.
