Kissimmee, Florida Speed Traps
Osceola Parkway, from just west of toolbooth to Interstate 4
FL Highway Patrol & Osceola County Sheriff’s cars in median around first curve west of toll booth; at top of overpasses. Parkway is a direct route to Walt Disney World, with much of the traffic coming from FL Turnpike which has higher speed limits (65 & 70 vs 55).
Emmette st from bermuda ave to downtown
turning off Bermuda ave (John Young Pkwy) going East on Emmette st, the speed is marked at 35mph. Right after you pass the courthouse, the speeds drops to 30mph. Within 1 block, as you turn down Broadway (same street, different name) it goes to 25mph. Cops hit there early. they have picked up people doing 55mph! Really expensive. Don’t run a yellow light!!!!
Sand Lake Road
ther is a radar detector in sandlake road going from jhon young to orange blosom trail you can see the radar passing the hill on the right side where the stop light is. is on a electric sing that says sheriff ahead.
192 – between Central Avenue and John Young Parkway
192 is the main road through Kissimmee to Walt Disney World. The Kissimmee police, sometimes motorcycle, sometimes police cars, love to set up near the John Young Parkway intersection, conveniently located near the Dunkin’ Donuts.
