Interstate 4 near Mile Marker 101
Seminole County deputies can often be found on foot on the Thomas Pkwy. overpass (exit 101A), clocking eastbound I-4 traffic after it passes underneath and then radioing ahead to other deputies who then make the stops. These officers are always positioned so as not to be visible to eastbound I-4 traffic before it reaches the overpass.
Interstate 4 near State Route 46A
Seminole County as well as Lake Mary PD will have officers standing on the bridge clocking with other officers down the road. Sometimes there is a black and a silver 2006/2007 Ford Mustang Unmarked sitting on the side of the road usually near the 46A on ramp. To be safe do 65 through Lake Mary to the St. Johns river. They are usually posted up during the end of the month and during bike/race weeks.
Primera Boulevard near Rinehart Road
Lake Mary PD usually sit on the sharp bends of the road backed in to private dirt roads. Speed limit is 30. Although, you are generally alright if you keep it under 35.
Rhinehart Road near Lake Mary Boulevard
It is common to see a police officer sitting in the office park entrance directly across from the Woodbridge Lakes neighborhood.
H.E. Thomas Jr. Parkway near Rinehart Road
If you’re travelling eastbound on Thomas Pkwy., after crossing Rinehart and passing the cemetery on the right side, and just east of the entrance to the Bentley Park apartment complex, a Lake Mary PD car can often be found running radar from the U-turn area that joins the east and westbound lanes of Thomas, and is positioned such that he can clock traffic before drivers can see him.
