Largo, Florida Speed Traps
Lake Ave SE & 16th Ave SE
Two police cars, watching for stop sign rolling stops”and speeding.”””
E Bay Dr &US 19
Just let off gas at close to top of overpass. They are here so often it almost a given. If your are over limit coming up to overpass the vertical will bring your speed to an acceptable level.
US Highway 19
Just south of hump over East Bay Drive, heading south on US 19. Morning rush hour. Largo cop sits on concrete right median, catching cars coming over the hump. Almost every day (must be nothing else to do in Largo) I have seen them give chase to a tight pack of cars, and pull one over, how do they pick which car if all of them where together going same speed? Seems like they are just looking for work. (Largo/Clearwater Border)

Belcher Boulevard near Belleair Road
There is a speed trap on Belcher Rd. in Largo FL, just south of Belleair Rd. There is some vacant land on the west side of the road where cops hang out, usually during the morning commute. The speed limit is 40 mph, and I got a ticket for doing 55. The online traffic school I had to finish to avoid points was one of the most miserable experiences of my life!
It was nonsensical and incredibly difficult to complete. I finally made it through, but I don’t want anyone else to have to go through that!

Ulmerton Road near North 66th Avenue
Construction zone. if you go 5 over you are nailed in this zone. Speed limit 35. According to the cop all they need is a presence of a construction worker. There was a truck apparently parked in construction zone area where I got nailed.
