Largo, Florida Speed Traps

Police will park in the median of US 19 between Ulmerton and East Bay, and will radar those going both N and S bound. Motorcycle cops will be posted N and S of the cruisers, and will pull out onto US 19 in whichever direction they are radioed to go! This is a highway, no lights, where the speed limit is 55 and traffic usually flows about 70. Be careful

Driving West of Kmart on Rosery towars Highland almost always a cop when approaching this area and somtime North and South Bound on Highland. They usually sit near the Chruch and it’s hard to see them.

Just south of Ulmerton road on 113th street(going north). The posted speed limit on 113th in that area is 40mph. It is a nice divided section of road(2 lanes either side) with housing developments on either side,not very close to road and the temptation is to sail along at about 50 because it seems so open and wide. But beware-my hubby got one on a Sunday morning on the way to church!

Cops stationed in median facing towards on coming traffic. Usually between Belcher Rd. and US 19., on median before and after overpass for 66th St.
