Lauderhill, Florida Speed Traps
An officer will be posted at the entrance of a condominium on 21st Street near State Road 7. Usually looking for speeders going from the west to State Road 7
When you exit Commercial Blvd going south on 72nd Ave. As you pass the CVS & come around the bend. A Mark &/or unmarked City of Lauderhill police car is parked on the right up against the curb as if they live in the residence they’re parked in front of. They are ususally there during pm rush hours 4-6:30pm but are also sometimes there mid-day.
Motorcycle cops hide at two turns in road. Sometimes conduct training on traffic control at the light there at 44th Street.
The motorcycle cop that is there on Inverrary Blvd usually works weekdays. I have never seen him on weekends. He cited me three times in 18 months, each time at different locations on this stretch of road.
Be careful, he would write his mother a ticket.
Inverrary BLVD is a four lane road through a gold course development. Speed limit is 30MPH and the Lauderhill Police have been hiding cars and motorcycles behind bushes and curves. I am seeing a lot of people getting tickets as my office is off this road.
