US Highway 441 near 44 Bypass
On hwy 441 between 44 (Old Lenmark Elec also known as Dixie Ave) and cr 44 (approx. 1 mile south of Lenmark) where they are widening the road and have it torn up with construction. City is CONSTANTLY monitoring this area for people to obey construction speed zones. Even in the middle of the night.
State Highway 27
Four miles south of downtown leesburg on hwy 27 the speed limit goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in just a few short blocks. A policeman sits on the side of the road waiting for you to get past the 35 sign then nails you.
Hwy 27 north bound into Leesburg.
Cruisers wait in church parking lot on east side of US27 checking speed of northbound vehicles. Speed limit is 35 MPH, reduced from 55 to 45 to 35 over a distance of less than 1/2 mile.
