Longwood, Florida Speed Traps

Cop sits on his motorcycle facing north on Lake Emma Road. There is a slight rise on Lake Emma. As the vehicle traveling south comes over the rise, auto is lasered. Speed is 40mph, open road, divided. Cop circles around and pulls motorist over.

This is right next to Rolling Hills Golf Course. They catch people heading south on Raymond just at the bottom of a hill. Speed limit is 30 MPH and it is easy to go over 35 MPH after going down the hill.

They also get people not fully stopping at the 3-way stop at Raymond and North.

Motorcycle @ the corner pulling people over stating its only 25mph when its posted 35mph. Also no sign in the area stating 25mph. Traveled down Rangeline Rd. for 4 years never seen a 25mph sign only 35mph.

I got a citation for not wearing a seat belt from a trooper. I WAS wearing the belt but he would not listen!

Coming from 434, cops set up near the corner of Raymond & North St. at least once or twice a month.
