Manalapan, Florida Speed Traps
State Route A1A near East Ocean Avenue
High end area means well equipped cops. High police presence everwhere on A1A, not just Manalapan. That’s why they have no crime. Don’t go over 40!

US Highway A1A
Manalapan police hide in the driveways of the mansions. They also have a video camera at the stop light at Lantana Road and AIA that not only checks red light runners but also checks for warrants. Their police are very “high tech”””
North of Boynton Inlet while traveling on A1A
Police park in construction sites that are currently under development. Manalapan is one of the most prominent communities in the U.S. Average home prices are anywhere from 1.5 million to 40 million. the posted limit is 25 mph and they will pull you over for going 1 mph over. They also run random license plates of vehicles that don’t measure up to their level of being acceptable in that area. Ex: Mercedes versus a Hyndai. They do not issue warnings and claim that since they called it in prior to pulling you over their is nothing they can do. It should also be noted that they receive one of the best starting salaries in Florida. Starting at $42,000 a year. If you don’t want to receive a ticket, my advice is to avoid this area.
State Road A1A
Short section of A1A with lower speed limit, without curves, schools, hospitals, or other obvious reason, enforcement only in the lower speed zone area.
