Lyons Road near Atlantic Boulevard
Lyons road Southbound right before Atlantic Blvd. Margate PD motorcycle officer hides behind the sign for the apartment complex with a Radar/Lidar its very hard to see him until its too late. At times there are 2 or 3 vehicles pulled over at a time.
Banks Road near Atlantic Boulevard
Heading north on Banks there are apartment buildings on the east side of the road with bushes that extend out to Banks road. There are motorcycle police hiding behind the bushes and they use laser to instantly hit you. Radar detectors are no use because they do not have the radar constantly on. Posted speed limit is 30 mph.
Royal Palm Boulevard near Rock Island Street
Sometimes cars with dummies placed in them are set in the median. Other days, they leave their cars parked aside and stand in the center shooting radar, other times they will stay in the car themselves and shoot their radar.
Southgate Street near US Highway 441
Sometimes cars with dummies placed in them are set in the median. Other days, they leave their cars parked aside and stand in the center shooting radar, other times they will set themselves in the car shooting radar.
66th Avenue near 11th Street
Margate cop will sit in the parking lot of a church right on the west side of 66th avenue shooting radar. Mostly during the afternoon and tends to pick up on the weekends. Posted limit is 25 and they will nab you for doing anything over that as I found out firsthand.
