Neptune Beach, Florida Speed Traps
Florida Blvd (northbound toward Atlantic Blvd)
This is a residential area that Florida Blvd passes through. Beware all hours of the day as from one to three cruisers target speeders going northbound in vicinity of the big curve and the day care center.
Additionally, they often watch and catch drivers who run the red lights at the Atlantic Blvd & Florida Blvd/Mayport Rd intersection.
3rd Street near the library
Black stealth cruiser sits at the edge of Jarboe Park, in the median or parked on the east side in with other cars.
Florida Blvd just east of Neptune Elementary
He sits under the trees just east of Neptune Beach with radar catching east bound toward ocean. Sometimes at the other end of Neptune clocking west bound just past the curve at the “Red School House”.
Atlantic Boulevard near Bridge
A Neptune Beach patrol car sits at the bottom of the east bound bridge and catches speeders with radar. The speed limit is 45 but it is hard to go that speed coming off a steep bridge. Slow down at the top of the bridge and look at the palm tree at the bottom of the bridge. This is where the police card usually sits. Sometimes it moves back to the flyover.
