John Sims Parkway near Ruby Tuesdays

Niceville, FloridaJun 03, 20080 Comments

I have been seeing a little Niceville cop standing in front of Ruby Tuesday’s. He hides behind the power pole and reaches his arm around with the radar gun and zaps people going by. Then his buddy down the road pulls people over. Beware!

N Palm Boulevard near John Sims Parkway

Niceville, FloridaOct 31, 20070 Comments

Palm Blvd north of John Sims Blvd is 25mph except during school zone times when it is 20 mph. Then north of Partin Dr. it is only 35. Both are well patroled and stops are frequent. DON’T GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT!

White Point Road near State Highway 20

Niceville, FloridaOct 28, 20070 Comments

This is the road in Niceville that leads to the Mid Bay Bridge. The speed limit is only 35mph, but it seems like it should be a lot faster, and people will ride you booty if you go that slow. No matter.. dont speed becasue the County Sheriff and Highway Patrol are on this street all the time and they will get ya!

College Boulevard near State Highway 85

Niceville, FloridaOct 07, 20070 Comments

Cops regularly monitor this area, maybe because the college is located right there. One cop often sits up on the golf bridge pointing the radar and then two more cops, located uproad and downroad, will be there to make the actual stop.

State Highway 20 near Range Road

Niceville, FloridaFeb 15, 20040 Comments

If you’re traveling West, after coming through Bluewater Bay on Highway 20, usually in the latter part of the day, right after C. Meigs Bridge (you’ll pass a stop light at Range Road on the right, then a hotel on the left), police sit right after the bridge where the speed limit is 45. The flow of traffic is usually 55+ but don’t be tempted because there will be one guy with the laser and another ready to track you down, and 100% of the time if they catch you you’re caught.
