Oak Hill, Florida Speed Traps
US 1 center of town.
This one is easy to get caught. The speed drops to 45 when you reach the outskirts of town. You don’t see a town so it’s easy to forget that you should be going 45. Right in the middle of town is a 25mph school zone as well. Both speed limits are reasonable but, beware.
The entire City US 1
The whole City is a speed trap, I pass through twice a day 5 days a week, 90% of the time the Cops are sitting in the medium running radar. They will give you a ticket for going 6 miles over the limit, had one stop me for going 3 over, had to explain to him he couldn’t (per State Law) for less than 5 MPH over.
W Halifax Ave & S Ridgewood Ave
This is a little used road except by locals and the police cars hide behind brush in the road. The speed limit varies alot up and down this road…..Beware and drop to the proper speed immediately or they will get ya!
US Highway 1 near City Limit
City limits marks the decrease on speed limit from 55mph to 45mph. Speeding ticket revenue is the main source of revenue for this very small town.
