Orlando, Florida Speed Traps
Toll 408, located at toll both west of Hiawassee
This only occurs occasionally. An officer sits in the shade of the high speed toll pass located west of Hiawassee with the Chasers lined up behing him. This is clever because the High Speed toll scanners cover the radar signal on most radar detectors (but not all) Recently, I counted 21 cars pulled over at this location. What a pay day.
Golfway Boulevard and Woodbury in Eastwood subdivision
Cops hide in the breaks in the median all along these two streets in this residential area of Eastwood. Speed limit is 35, and is the current construction area, 25. They do not allow 5 miles over. Even if someone is on your bumper pressing you, don’t go over the posted speed limit. They are there several days a week, and at all hours. Also, be sure to come to a full stop at the roundabout at the golf club, even if no car is in site. They hide off to the right, and ticket you for not coming to a dead stop.
I-4 West and Disney (tourist attractions area)
Unmarked police car (white Dodge Ram) on I-4 daily pulling over speeders (witnessed several times). Sometimes hides under overpasses…
Bumby ave and Gore st.
They sit on the eastside of bumby near gore st just before lake como elementary school. The speed limit is 25mph. Don’t do more than that!!!!!
Pershing Ave
Between Goldenrod and Semoran Blvd. is a road called Pershing Ave. that connects the two roads. Located on Pershing Ave. is a Police Aux. office, next to Ventura Elem.
The Police like to position themselves directly in the middle of the medium raydar-ing both directions to catch speeders.
