Oak Ridge Road near Florida Turnpike
If you travel East or West on Oak Ridge Road, as you approach the Fla. turnpike overpass, beware that you are moving from Orange County to Orlando city limits. Orlando Police motorcycle officers exploit this change of jurisdiction at all hours of the day. Travelling east bound, they park on the sidewalk under oak trees and step out. Westbound,they park off the road and aim their radar at the crest of the hill, you then drive right down to them at the bottom of the hill near the mall for your ticket. (Orlando-Orange County)

Co. Motor Officer or sometimes marked or unmarked cruiser sits on center median usually around Cypress Woods Dr. Generally pulling over West bound traffic. Mid week–but Thurs seem to be a favorite day. Usually finished by 3 PM. (Orlando/Orange County)

2 Florida Highway Patrol officers on foot use handheld radar. Motorists are waved off to the side of the road where uniformed officers issue tickets. There are a few chase cars for those who don’t stop.
