Orlando has seen fit to not only collect obnoxious Tolls throughout the city but now have set speed traps on Toll roads to boot. Marked and unmarked cars and motorcycles are sitting under overpasses and at toll booths waiting for unsuspecting drivers. They have taken the speed from 70 outside of town to 55 in town. At rush hour in the morning and evening 2 and sometimes 3 cover a 10 mile stretch from the Airport to the John Young Express way.

There was a recent article claiming 528 is one of the top 10 speed traps of the US. Apparently the cops are reading those articles too….speed traps on 528 have tripled in the last few weeks. Be especially aware around the toll plaza near the Fl. Mall…lots of nooks and cranies for a cop to hide in.
