Orlando, Florida Speed Traps

Not many posted speed signs. 30 mph. Police hang at extended entrance to Walgreens.

Marked and unmarked orange county sheriff set up twice a month, speed limit is 25 mph most vehicles travel this route at 35 mph plus.

Typically between 7:30am and 8:30 am or sometimes in the afternoon 3:30-5:00pm there is one or two patrol cars and/or motorcycle. The Orange County Sheriffs have a sheriff standing at the entrance to Vishall Dr with radar gun, and typically trap cars going west on Lokanotosa Trl. before the driver gets to the speed bumps or the entrance to University High School.

I am a 4 year resident of Eagle Creek Golf Club. Be very careful and watch your speed on Narcoossee Rd. There are speed traps from the 528 to Boggy Creek Rd. Somebody’s got to help pay for all the road construction and it might as well be you if your not mindful of your speed.

Groups of marked FHP cruisers sit in the median, generally closer to the alligator farm. Nice, open stretch of road.
