Avalon Park

Orlando, FloridaOct 04, 20100 Comments

Avalon Park residents know, there are way too many stop signs in the development, for no reason. To top it off, many sheriffs and fhp live in Avalon. Basically since the cops are too lazy to go and catch real criminals, they just wake up in the morning and drive around Avalon, waiting for someone to not come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Be alert, and look a few times at each stop sign before you go through. One day I saw three of them pulling people over one by one at the stop sign by CVS. For god sakes these cops need to get a life.

Waterford Chase (Lake Underhill) – Discovery Middle School

Orlando, FloridaOct 04, 20100 Comments

I believe the speed limit is 35, but many people do atleast 40-45. There are two lanes by the middle school. Unfortunately there are a lot of trees around when you come up to the cut out in the road by discovery middle school. Once you reach that cut out, you realize it’s too late and they already got you. They are here all the time. Be alert during school hours especially.

Millenia Blvd (Between Oak Ridge and Radebaugh)

Orlando, FloridaSep 03, 20100 Comments

Motorcycle traffic units like to sit at the curve heading east bound on Millenia Blvd right before the traffic light at Radebaugh Road. Officers step into traffic and issue citations for speed. Speed limit is 35 MPH on the road. Occasionally they will sit at the traffic light at Oak Ridge and Millenia and laser traffic driving west bound.

Eastbound S.R. 414 approaching Rose Ave./Bear Lake Rd.

Orlando, FloridaAug 30, 20100 Comments

Speed on the 414 is 65, then slows to 55, then to 45 in a very short stretch as you approach Rose. Ave/Bear Lake Rd. Cops sit on motorcycles at the bottom of the curved hill with a radar gun and catch people going 65 in a 45. Have seen this mostly in the mornings around 7-8 am.

Speed box radar / signs posted. Don’t be fooled thinking its just radar box…There are officers that sit at the churches and pull people over once they pass these devices.
