Ormond Beach, Florida Speed Traps
Interstate 95 near Exit Number 278
Getting off of exit 278, coming from the North, and going East, a cop will sit in the grass by the turn for Old Kings Highway. He’s hidden by the trees there but he can definitely see you. The MPH is 45 when you get off the exit and go over the bridge, but by the 7-Eleven is turns to 35, not even 100 feet from this turn onto Old Kings Highway.
Hand Avenue near Center Street
Two motorcycle cops have been sitting here almost everyday. Speed limit is 25 between US1 and Nova Rd. They have been sitting all along Hand Ave. but usualy near Center St.
Hand Avenue near US Highway 1
Between Nova Road and US1. Officers are hidden amongst trees on North side of street. Residential posted 25 mph. Usually work in pairs. One with radar another further along and pulls out and stop you. Work it at least once a week. Radar detector saved me numerous times.

Division Avenue near Orchard Street
Motorcycle cop hides along the 25 MPH zone of Division Avenue anywhere from Nova Road south to Orchard Street. Cop usually hides in the parking lot entrance of the apartment complex at the corner of Orchard and Division.
State Route 40 near 5/2rd Bank Just East of Bridge on Granada aka 40
2-3 nights a week passed midnight there is a police stationed in the 5/3rd drivethru with a radar or laser (not sure which). He is targetting people that’re coasting down the east side of the bridge. People usually coast down the bridge at a higher rate than the speed limit so I’ve seen quite a few people get pulled over there.
