681 Connector Eastbound and Westbound

Osprey, FloridaApr 14, 20100 Comments

Both FHP and Sarasota Sheriff are enforcing the speed limits on the 681 Connector in Osprey, on both the Eastbound and Westbound sides! They’re not here all the time, but quite often! They also love to stay at the foot of the hill on both sides, that way even if they’re running Radar or Laser, regardless if you have a Radar/Laser Detector, by the time you know it, you’re nailed!
They also love to sit on 681 in the dark, using both marked and unmarked vehicles, with their vehicle lights off. If you DO NOT have a Radar/Laser detector you will get caught, especially at night, as you can’t see them!
Speed limit coming from I-75, drops to 60 to 55, and vice-versa from US 41, 55 to 60!

US 41 both directions betw. E Bay St. and Cent. Sarasota Pky

Ocassionally Sarasota Deputies, in marked and unmarked vehicles sit in the median running Radar in both directions! Speed Limit by E. Bay St. is 45 MPH, and then doesn’t go up to 55 MPH, until you approach McIntosh Rd.!
