Corner of Minton and Malabar Rd

Palm Bay, FloridaMay 23, 20140 Comments

They have just shortened the traffic signal at this busy intersection making it at times almost impossible for more than 2 to 3 cars to get through. The light goes from green, yellow, to red so quickly that you are guaranteed to get a ticket if you are in the intersection at all when it turns yellow. We experienced this first hand when the 4 PBPD officers who were waiting near the intersection stopped us shortly after this traffic light’s timing was modified.

Cop sits in the restaurant parking lot on the northbound side of the highway. He blends in with the surroundings very well.

US1 Between Palm Bay Road and RJ Conlon Blvd.

Palm Bay, FloridaMay 05, 20101 Comments

Cop sits on the grassy area next to the river just south of RJ Conlon on US1…He conviently hides himself behind brush…. (The cop cars sit on the Right hand side of the road if you’re heading north)…no time to react..by the time you see him, its too late

On Eldron between Malabar and Americano.

Palm Bay, FloridaApr 27, 20100 Comments

Going North on Eldron the officer hides on the north side of the bridge, on the left or right side. You can not see him until he jumps out of his car. Speed limit is 30MPH. Newly paved so it is easy to slide up to 40 or so. Going south the officer hides on the left side near the Malabar end of the steet, in a driveway or at the ajoining road at the end. He is usually in the Dark Blue Car but I have seen others there also. He told me "At the end of the day they ask me how many tickets I have written, not what I have written them for" He did cut me some slack, but I still had to pay.
