Palmetto Bay, Florida Speed Traps

Police Officer hiding in side streets, will lie about times on speeding ticket (IE, will fine you even though school zone times are up). Supervisor always near in Black SUV, radios easy targets (IE, back of the pack), parks in Bill Sadowski. Very bad!

Often see Palmetto Bay police at the corner of SW 82nd Ave/SW 138th Street (or whatever the street just north of the canal bridge between 144th and 136th stoplights along 82nd). Usually will be a cop standing out by the street with radar, another sitting by the car (they always seem to be talking to local residents). They’ll move about 15 feet away from 82nd so they aren’t seen until you are almost past them.
