Pembroke Pines, Florida Speed Traps
Pines Blvd East between SW 136 Ave and SW 129 Ave
New Speed Trap – Pembroke Pines Police are sitting on the South side of the Blvd catching motorist heading East in the AM. Century Village complex on the south side of the Blvd. The sun is rising and obscuring the drivers view. The police walk out onto the Blvd to direct speeding motorist to pull off the road. Folks coming off the SW 136 Ave light who are first in line are getting caught. Cars following behind but not seeing what is going on, have to make abrupt stops. Police are creating a safety hazard by jumping out into the Blvd.
northbound Douglas Road between Taft and Sheridan
Motorcycle Officers park in sports complex parking lot behind trees. They are probably there 2 weeks out of month, mostly on weekday mornings and afternoons. Sometimes they switch to the southbound side also – be careful
Johnson Street between Palm and Flamingo
Usually between Hiatus and Flamingo West bound side… Motorcyles radar gun in center divider…Sometimes changes to East bound side…
SW 178 Avenue & SW 7 Street
Radar officer in the median stopping everyone over 35 mph. Wrote me a ticket for going 43 mph
Hwy 27 and Pines Blvd to Griffin
Highway 27 as you enter Pembroke Pines until you get throught it is one long speed trap. I have see PP Police all along that highway sitting in the median, on the side of the road and just about everywhere. It is 50MPH through Pembroke Pines but coming from just before you enter Pembroke Pines it is 65 MPH so they sit and wait.
