Pensacola, Florida Speed Traps

Pensacola Police Department hides in the driveway of houses on the right of Brent Lane heading east from Davis or in one of the driveways into the Rave Theater, particularly during morning rush hours. The speed limit is only 35 there – so far two friends have gotten tickets and I have seen them there multiple times since.

The Policemen will be on Chemstrand Rd about halfway between 9 Mile Rd and Johnson Rd and you probably won’t see them unless you know to look. The patrol cars are hidden and the officers stand out by the road with their radar guns and make the offenders pull into where they are. It seems they get alot of people since the speed limit is only 30 mph. However Its seems that is the case only during nice weather, I have never seen them at all during the colder months but have noticed them appearing more and more as spring is near.

Both AM and PM troopers and deputies sit on the 2 school zones and also as you come out of NASP on lots to the right. Watch for white Dodge Charger – unmarked.

ECSO is setting up there today 10-23-09. They like to get near the church where there is a set of railroad tracks higher than the road, so if you are going west on 10 mile rd and cross the tracks, they already have you.
