Kendall Drive near 64 Avenue
Anywhere along N. Kendall Drive between 57th Avenue to 67th Avenue, the pinecrest cops like to park under trees and get people going over 30mph.
SW 104th Street near SW 67th Avenue
There are some low hanging trees on the side of the road and the cops have taken to hiding behind the trees and popping out like a game of laser tag… be prepared… they also follow you until they find something…
SW 104th Street near 70th Avenue
This is well-patrolled street. The patrol car is parked behind the park sign and can’t be seen until you’ve already been spotted. The park parking lot is also used.
Three blocks farther down 104th St. at the corner of 73rd Court and SW 104th St. is another frequently used trap.There are big trees the patrol cars can hide under. The police will spend several hours pulling drivers over.
SW 88 Street near SW 67 Avenue
Pinecrest Police constantly enforces the village’s 35 mph speed limit in the stretch of N. Kendall Drive (SW 88 Street) between SW 67 Avenue and Old Cutler Road (approximately SW 42 Avenue). By the way, the entire Village of Pinecrest is a speedtrap town with low crime and a police department that concentrates on generating revenue through traffic tickets.
SW 74th Avenue near SW 125th Street
Located about a block south of 124th street along 74th avenue, across from Pinecrest Elementary. Often seen between 7-7:30 AM with traffic to Palmetto High. Sometimes move to other locations between 136th street and 124th street along 74th avenue.
