Ponce Inlet, Florida Speed Traps
Lighthouse Drive
10 mph speed limit enforced by radar. I got popped doing 25 on this road, and I was going slower than I thought was necessary just because I was in an unfamiliar area. When the cop said the speed limit was 10 I actually thought he was joking for a moment. Just avoid this town altogether, there are plenty of other nice beaches to the north.
Peninsula drive by Ponce preserve in Ponce Inlet
Ponce Inlet PD favorite spot, about 500 yards south of Old Carriage rd ,they sit on Peninsula Dr. by Ponce preserve. This is a particular favorite, and they switch the radar unit on,as you approach just in case you have a detector, but if you do ,it’s to late ,as they have you. Beware in Ponce inlet !
