Port Orange, Florida Speed Traps
Police regularly stay parked in the community of Countryside, to keep people from running the 3-way stop signs in front of the Countryside Clubhouse, and to enforce the speed limits, which are frequently violated by people who are just cutting through the neighborhood.
Offices usually sit on side of road protected by curve. or they sit on the Taylor road side of the drop in speed to 35 mph
Again another area where the speed limit on adjoining streets is 35 mph and up and suddenly when turning off Madeline or Big Tree onto McDonald it is 25. I lived in area for 12 years. Port orange is the worst for speed traps.
Cops sit under the overpass. Usually two patrols for each direction. You can’t see them due to a trees in the median.
