Port Richey, Florida Speed Traps
Stop sign to the right of Hooters Restaurant
When you come off Old Post Rd turning onto Treadaway & Bayview there is a stop sign to the right by a palm tree. You would likely be going to Hooters or Sunset Bar or Sun Cruz Casino. This law enforcement person
is laying in waiting for you to ease thru and he is in a black charger with dark windows.
Loe Kidd Boulevard near Ridge Road
This is an often used short cut to avoid buisy Ridge Rd and 19 intersection. South of Ridge, the posted 30 sign is far down the road, so the local PD sit at the first side road and get ya!
US Highway 19 near Bridge
As soon as you come over the bridge from New Port Richey into Port Richey, ther’e always a Black & White sitting there. The speed limit is 45, not 60. You have just received your warning (grin).
U.S.Highway 19
Heading north or south, when you speed up, the State Police pops up behind you and before you know it…You have a speeding ticket. On the week ends they have the Wolf Pack. This is a combined task force of State and Town police looking for violators. If you get caught, you have a ticket. Slow up between Port Richey and Spring Hill Florida on U.S. Highway 19.
Little Rd. near the intersection of San Miguel
Just to let you know I caught a cop trying to catch people just starting to speed up after the light at Ridge and Little. The area is still within the construction zone where the SL is 35 but right near the regular 45 mph SL. Watch out!
