Sebastian, Florida Speed Traps

Unmarked car in center grass divider, looking like broken down vehicle. Radar on everyone coming off the Sebastian I-95 exit going east to Sebastian.

After turning East off of US1 onto Sebastian Blvd. going East (one way street). Go about 500 feet and look to the left and you will see a Sebastian cruiser waitng so far back between the bushes that the vehicle is impossible to see before you are directly in front of it. Definite "speed trap".

Just past JP Matty’s and the paint store, on left side, there is an old house. They tend to hang back. The road makes a slight turn. When you see the cop, it is too late. Speed limit after school zone is 35mph. DO NOT go over that speed till you reach US1. The school zone is 20mph while lights are flashing. DO NOT go over that speed. The only crime in Sebastian seems to be speeding. Go over, even by 2mph and see what happens.

The speed limit on the bridge southbound is 55. The speed limit on the same bridge northbound is 45. Too easy to pick up speed coming off the bridge going northbound and get nailed before the speed limit goes up to 55..
