Spring Hill, Florida Speed Traps

15 MPH School Zone. Unmarked Light Blue/Teal Dodge Magnum (wagon) or Blue Dodge Charger sits in the Bus turn lane facing/shooting South with turn signal on. They get cars that accelerate before "end school zone sign".

Every month they place an empty cruiser in the median near the County Offices and Sheriff’s substation during the day. A few days later they put two officers in the east bound lane and write loads of tickets in the 35mph for that whole road. Sometimes the west bound lane right off a curve. Every other road is 40mph so people get tickets by the handful for 10mph over limit. Even the cops here drive 5mph over all the limits!! It’s FL. Last week of every month is the most common here due to quotas being met.

If you are heading towards Northcliffe Blvd. coming from Forest Oaks Blvd., they are usually hiding out in the trees with a laser gun on the right side mid way between. Sometimes they are on motorcycles and sometimes in their cars but they are always sitting there it seems and especially in the morning hours.

The newly paved road speed limit is 35. It is nice and smooth and hard to go the speed limit. I am not usually a speeder but have to catch myself on this one. The cops somtimes sit at the church or on a side cross road. I have seen them any where along this street. Every time I drive on it I see them with someone pulled over getting a ticket.

Cops in Green uniforms stand on the west side of landover after a curve and radar cars coming around the curve. Sometimes they have motorcycles. The speed limit is 35mph but easy to go over!! Green uniforms and slim motorcycle make it hard to see them.
